Interview
It is a two-round interview process. First, the WhatsApp AI chatbot sends the available interview dates. During the interviews, people who are already working on the topic ask behavioural and technical questions. For me, the entire process took around five months.

They asked questions about the project topic and how I would approach the issue.
I had to answer via HireVue to some predefined questions within a week. The questions were not technically related to the role but more about general behavior. The process overall was comfortable and the questions didn't take more than 10 minutes

Present yourself. What do you like to do? Why ASM?
I have interviewed with this company twice, and both recruiter screening calls were disappointing. The recruiters seemed disconnected from the technical aspects of the roles and focused almost entirely on checking boxes and aggressively pushing for a salary number. In one case, I was even told, "I don't want to waste time—just give me a number."
In my experience, recruiter quality at other semiconductor companies is significantly better, with conversations centered on understanding a candidate's background, skills, and motivations. Here, the process felt transactional, and the compensation discussions were well below market rates. Fortunately, the hiring managers and engineering teams were professional, respectful, and much more engaging than the recruiting experience.
