I interviewed for the Field Service Engineer – EUV position and progressed through the full interview process, including the final panel interview.
The phone interview was an easy going background check and some behavior/motive related questions. It is good to prove why you are a good fit.
The final panel interview was done for 1 hour covering mostly technical questions. It is good to study the principle/mechanism/workflow of EUV light formed and projected to other optical systems. The part like scanner and scientific/statistical method of minimizing residual drift as the pattern lighted on the wafer the mask and the wafer moving in opposite direction. Just be prepared for technical and problem solving questions. Good to have a structured logical thinking.
The final interview went good I think seeing 4 mangers nodding and looking in my eyes. Giving more questions after answers trying to validate me and more questions similar but with twists.
I feel regretful i said it would be challenging to relocate for 6 months training in Arizona. I think I should have be resolved to do anything. But I am grateful to know and talk to my seniors who went through good career paths.
Finally, people at ASML are very welcoming while they don’t hesitate to question on and on until things are clear.
