Contact role so just a short informal interview with the hiring manager, who called from his car! The rest of the process went through a recruitment agency. Don't know what the process is for permanent roles

The interviewer seems not prepared. The position and the compensation range seems not well thought. It seems they do not know what they need. Sounds like they are testing the water.
