I got an interview through the recruiter for a position that was a contract of approximately two years or more. One of the managers called to do a phone screen with a few technical questions. I was later asked to do an interview with two of the managers after work hours. They were nice people but some of the interview questions were difficult and one of the managers couldn't get over some time off I had taken from work that was on my resume. I got the impression they value people who put in many hours (even unpaid). I was told an example of a contractor who used to put in 60-some hours but only asked for 40 hours pay, because he know they couldn't pay more that 40. They hired him and this is the kind of person they are looking to hire full-time. Also, this team expects the group to work closely in a small room and spend time outside of work together. I was finally shown around the office.
