We made a phone call and chatted pretty smoothly. Not a techinal interview and being asked about my working experience and some opinions on the market right now. after about two weeks, i was refused since the hr said the product had been abandoned.

Why would you like to have this job?
First started by applying through Handshake provided by my school. I received an email from HR inquiring when we could set up an interview time. Then the pandemic hit, so the interview was over phone and it was pretty long, mostly with basic behavioral questions.
First-round interview is a 30min interview with very basic questions. In the second round, they let me solve a real problem from their company in the short-video platform industry and they are not satisfied with my answer because I mentioned Facebook and the Chinese short-video platform industry.
