The interview process was fine at first however after the second interview the mask of professionalism disappeared. I had a teams interview and in person interview within a week and was told I would receive a decision by the following Wednesday. I was told after I had reached out to them that the process had been extended to Friday. Friday comes and goes with no communication at all from them and no subsequent communication until the day after I send an email asking again and try phoning them directly. They tell me that I will receive news by Wednesday. In the end I receive a rejection email at 5 minutes to 5pm on that Wednesday from the HR Assistant (who I never met). This level of unprofessionalism I have become accustomed to but the fact that they were different from the rest at first makes this subsequent switch in behaviour quite upsetting. The fact that the public facing departments are so dismissive of candidates is a significant red flag to how they would treat employees. The irony that they think after all this I would ever want to re-apply for any position at their company after this treatment is baffling. So congratulations, you have alienated yourselves from a candidate who in your own words had an impressive set of skills and experience that you would love to consider in future.
