Beware of fraud. I was asked to create “production ready” micro-service as test task. When they received my code they never reply my emails. After 3 days they deleted HR address. Now all emails getting “no such address” error.
We're sorry this happened! We certainly do not use these coding exercises for production, nor did we delete our HR address. Perhaps you've contacted an incorrect email address? We make sure to provide feedback to all candidates who submit exercises, as we respect each candidate's time and appreciate the effort made during this process. Please try to resend to your original contact at the company and we'll be sure to get back to you.
All the best,
33Across
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at 33Across (London, England) in Apr 2018
Interview
I had a telephone call with the head of HR or the talent acquisitions. We had a great conversation and I felt that I had really made a good impression.
However, the second interview was with a guy who would be the manager for me based in Chicago using a video meeting. This did not work the connection was terrible and the interviewer completely inexperienced and just seemed bored throughout the entire meeting. He was doing anything other than looking at the screen. This was after the technical problems had been resolved.
Also nothing in the job spec asked about having great JavaScript knowledge as such a major requirement. As soon as I said I had no JavaScript experience but would start learning it they seemed uninterested as a whole.
I also never heard back from them didn't get any feedback or anything terrible really.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Normal Interview questions for this role. How to troubleshoot? How to optimise campaigns? And also concentrated on JavaScript knowledge far too much for the role.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at 33Across (New York, NY)
Interview
First round was online coding round. I got to know after a week that i have cleared first round and they would want me to come to their New York office for further process. I was interviewed by 2 engineers. Each one gave me a problem to solve which i did solve. It was one hour long process. After this i was interviewed by remote engineer which also about an hour. Last round was supposed to be with VP but they said he is not in office. So they have to conduct it later. But that later never came.
All engineers were nice. Overall a good experience for me. This was front end role so all programs i did were in Javascript
