I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 2U (Denver, CO) in Nov 2018
Interview
They called me for a phone interview. First, it was difficult to schedule a time, as the interviewer always seemed to be busy and took forever to get back to me when I suggested a mutually-agreeable time. After we finally agreed on a time (which was very early in my time zone, to accommodate the fact that they were calling from the East coast), I was ready for the call as agreed but no call came. Finally, 10 minutes later, I get an email briefly saying they have to reschedule, and will be back in touch.
This organization may just be going through some "growing pains" but up front, they seem incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful of folks' time and effort -- and I haven't even GOTTEN to the actual interview yet. Not sure I want to. Sounds like it could be pretty chaotic working there.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at 2U in May 2023
Interview
Amazing interview experience with a great team. Near the end of the process (while close to receiving the offer) the position was suddenly eliminated with no warning. Would not recommend interviewing as a result.
There were three phases, the initial phase to get to know one another then a technical coding interview followed by a team fit interview. The overall experience was enjoyable and not too stressful
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at 2U (Brooklyn, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
Interview process was straightforward. I wasn't interviewed by anyone I ended up working with, which I found a bit strange. This is perhaps more common at larger companies like 2U.
