What is the hiring process like at Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions India?

The hiring process is really faster than most other companies. The burden on a fresher is quite low. Fast replies are recieved on emails for queries.

Sometimes the schedule is confusing because it gets changes in between.

I recently joined VWITS, and the onboarding experience exceeded my expectations. From day one, the HR team and my future colleagues were extremely welcoming and supportive. The process was well-structured, with clear guidance on company values, goals, and expectations, making it easy to understand the company culture right away. The training sessions were thorough, covering everything I needed to know to get started in my role. I appreciated the opportunity to meet with different teams, which made me feel like a part of the company from the beginning. My manager and mentors were always available for questions, ensuring I had the resources and information I needed to succeed.

Smooth hiring process, no much delay the processes, welcome kit and assets that they provide are good enough to work.

No as such cons but there can be improvement in the communication from the HR.

Short-term onsite opportunities (2 to 3 weeks). Bridge holidays provide additional time off. Good learning opportunities through Udemy and classroom training. Diwali gifts are provided as a token of appreciation.

Salary increments are minimal, often below 3%. Performance ratings do not directly impact salary hikes. Mid-level management, especially in the Gurgaon location, can be difficult to work with. The interview process needs improvement, as it sometimes results in hiring unsuitable candidates.

Several managers are leveraging their connections with senior leadership to maintain their positions while mistreating their subordinates. They are managing projects based on personal preferences rather than adhering to industry standards or meeting customer requirements. This circumstance has resulted in a prevalent practice of biased recruitment to preserve the dominance and authority within the team.
