What is working from home like at PUMA?

BE CAUTIOUS about trusting their claims of flexibility regarding work locations. Despite their assurances of a flexible work arrangement, the reality is far more restrictive. Remote work is generally limited to fewer than 3 days per month, even in non-critical situations. Moreover, if you need to work from home during emergencies without prior approval, this may be held against you—regardless of your performance or dedication. Such instances could even result in termination without prejudice with their strict in-office policy, which is presented as "flexible." Be mindful of this disparity between their promises and actual practices to avoid unexpected consequences.

Work-Life Balance: PUMA offers flexible working setups (home office, flexible working hours) and a variety of sports and social activities to help maintain a good work-life balance1. Company Culture: The work environment is generally positive and family-oriented, which makes it a fun and energetic place to work for. Employee Benefits: Employees receive discounts on PUMA products and other benefits, as sample sales e.g.. Career Development: There are opportunities for job security and advancement within the company as well.

Complex processing: Often a complex network of various tools and procedures that slow you down in reaching the goals set.

The overall environment in the HQ is really good: there are a lot of young people, which helps in toning down the seriousness of a work environment. The Wellbeing and P&O departments take good care of proposing new and fun events/activities for employees. The everyday workload can be of highs and downs based on the period but there is little to no rush in getting tasks done, at least in my department. The company is also trying to make more and more big steps into sustainability and eco-friendly processes which might be of even more relevance in the future if actuated properly. The overall package of benefits (employee discount, events and in-house services, free gym access, social and economic helpings, PUMAPerks program, etc.) is really good and helps to add value to the working environment.

Pay could be a bit higher, or trying to be aligned more toward the country standards. I think a big step back was taken regarding WFH policies, returning to a 3/2 hybrid setup (even after it has been clear that the HQ has been suffering from a lack of office spaces, and more and more new employees are joining). I believe that by choosing a more open stance and giving complete freedom to the employees to decide when and where to work from outside the office, the company could take advantage of this and attract more potential candidates.

Flexible work hours. Work from home. Super supportive work environment. Most positive work environment I have worked in.

Some systems are a bit clunky but it's a big con.
