How are the career development opportunities at Nuix?

The software is amazing and does make a difference for good.

Nuix used to be a nice place to work, but in the last few years the culture at Nuix has turned rotten! Leaders and managers cannot be trusted; they are belittling and love to gaslight - it's the worst place I have ever worked for in my professional 20 years. Huge pressure to work long hours with unrealistic deadlines. No training, no career advancement. Huge cost-cutting to pay legal fees to cover the wrongdoings. The salespeople have the blood sucked out of them. Don't get excited about it being a tech company, it's not, it's a body shop and revolving door of engineers. The Board and Executive Team are not steering this ship, it's sinking fast.

There's absolutly nothing in this organization that I can point to as a "Pros"

-14-hour workdays are treated as the norm -Little to no recognition or respect for employees -Highly toxic work environment -Extremely bureaucratic, with constant last-minute, “urgent” deliverables that create unnecessary pressure -Misleading compensation plan — not as transparent or fair as it appears -Employees are often used as scapegoats to cover for company shortcomings Pro tip: Stay away

I would strongly advise against considering any position at Nuix. The company's culture is characterized by instability and a lack of job security. Annual layoffs are a recurring event, leaving employees constantly anxious about their future. The absence of a supportive work environment and a clear career path further exacerbates the negative experience. The company's priorities are misaligned, leading to frequent changes in direction that disrupt projects and demoralize teams. If you value job security and a stable work environment, I urge you to explore other opportunities else where.

The software is truely for good!

Don't believe the positive reviews, everyone I speak to are not happy! New starters start with joy to join a tech company, but most leave with 12-18 months as different people with the life sucked out of them, as management slowly destroys their soles. Please, please trust me, don't ever think about joining Nuix, at least until Jonathan Rubinsztein (CEO) and Alexis Rouch (CTO) move on. Also, no career opportunities; it's all BS the stories they tell new recruits.

Not so much a con, but things here happen fast, which I suppose can be intimidating for some people. If you’re a fan of an agile environment and like to see things moving, it’s great though!
