      Pros

People don't get laid off here which is great. There are also pretty good amenities and resources for employees.

      Cons

Many work 50+ hour weeks and most have to work nights.

      * Very relaxed work culture * Good job security * One meeting a week

NVIDIA is a great place to make a career

      Director of accounting
      Current employee
      Santa Clara, CA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Founder led company with real concern and care for employees. We've never had a real layoff in the 20 years I have been with the company. Jensen is visionary leader. Management has been very supportive of my personal career growth and work flexibility. Job is never dull, always new challenges.

      Cons

Recently in past several years it seems that internal candidates are overlooked for growth opportunities and we tend to hire external candidates instead. Management (Finance) is not very transparent with organizational changes. It feels pace of company growth is outpacing our ability to develop sound process and infrastructure and hire personnel to support and it feels frenetic at times.

      Cons

Expectations can be high but as long as you meet them then you are fine.

      Love NVIDIA, But ...

      Anonymous employee
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

NVIDIA is probably the best tech company to ever work for. Jensen is hands down the BEST CEO one could ever have and it's because he actually cares about his employees. The benefits are the best I've had in my career thus far and the culture is hands down the best you're going to get in your career. Despite all the tech layoffs, NVIDIA has held strong and not had one.

      Cons

Very few cons, but work life balance could be there more but at least the effort was put forth with quarterly free days to reset, Resources or budget will be given to some members of my team while I was often told wait/maybe. Often being referred to as a manager but not technically having the title or the pay. Salaries could be more competitive, but NVIDIA is known for better benefits even if better base pay is achievable somewhere else.

      Great Work/Life Balance

      Recruiting coordinator
      Former contractor
      Vancouver, WA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

The company was a great place to work. They encourage a work/life balance.

      Cons

They executed layoffs without considering their future growth, and end up rehiring for the same rolls.
