We’ve done it again! Our graduate program has been ranked among the top in Australia by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) for the third year running. Congratulations to our very own Tess Wethereld, for taking out the Women In Digital International Queensland Urban Utilities Community Champion Award. Recognised for her work mentoring and educating up and coming tech leaders in our community!
It was celebrations all round at the Australian Learning Impact Awards (ALIA)! We’re delighted to be named as the ALIA Learning Innovation Award Winner for our O-Week program and finalist for Onboarding Solution of the Year! Congratulations to our Learning team on this outstanding achievement and for continually elevating the employee experience for our new starters!
A huge congratulations to our Graduate Business Analyst, Emily Entwistle for taking out the Women in Technology's ICT Young Achiever award earlier this month. At just the beginning of her career, Emily continues to pave the way in Brisbane's tech community through her guidance and mentorship of our graduate program and her significant contribution with initiatives such as the TechnologyOne Steam Lab, BiG Day In and the Tech Girls Movement Foundation. Well done Emily, we couldn’t be prouder!
Over 60 TechGirls teamed up with TechnologyOne mentors on their quest to become the next Tech Girl Superhero! The young techies used green screens to film their video pitch for Tech girls are superheroes' 'Search for the Next Tech Girl Superhero’ – a competition designed to solve real-world problems through technology. A huge thank you to our mentors for supporting the girls in the 12-week program and we look forward to seeing the winning entries soon!
From painting to heavy lifting our TechnologyOne Foundation volunteers recently helped tick off the maintenance list at Childhood Cancer Support Inc - a fantastic charity dedicated to providing families affected by childhood cancer with a place to call home.
Last month, we hosted our first external STEAM Lab at Morayfield State High School. Over 50 students participated in a range of STEAM-related activities aimed at building new skills while discovering the diverse number of careers available in IT. The school identified STEAM disciplines as a key learning area for its students and we were excited to bring STEAM Lab to Morayfield to inspire the next generation of software leaders!
