The wildfires have caused extensive damage resulting in service outages, many due to preemptive power shutoffs. To help keep people connected in these impacted communities, Spectrum has opened more than 35,000 out-of-home WiFi access points to be available to all users at no cost. Additionally, Spectrum News LA has lifted all authentication requirements so customers and non-customers alike can stay informed with Spectrum’s coverage of the wildfires via the Spectrum News App. When areas are deemed safe to enter, our crews will begin their efforts to restore service to all customers. As power is restored, if your Spectrum service is still impacted, we will proactively credit your account until your services are active. Click below for more information.

Spectrum hosted its 2024 Spectrum Scholars Summit at our corporate headquarters in Stamford, CT. At this event, Scholars participated in the holiday party at our Stamford headquarters, met with our Spectrum Scholars Mentors and heard from members of our leadership team. Spectrum Scholars is an educational program for underrepresented rising college juniors with financial need. This annual scholarship program awards college students $20,000 each, as well as the opportunity to pursue a Spectrum internship. In 2024, Spectrum awarded $300,000 in scholarships to our Scholars.
