It’s our honor to support Piercing Nurse Samantha—who has been a valued member of our team for six years—as she participated in an executive leadership program at Columbia Business School. Here’s what Sam had to say about her experience. -- I feel truly fortunate to work for Rowan. From the beginning, they’ve invested time, energy, and resources into my growth. They saw a nurse with determination, curiosity, and a genuine desire to learn—and they didn’t just notice it, they nurtured it. Recently, Rowan sponsored my participation in an executive leadership program at Columbia Business School, where I had the opportunity to learn alongside leaders from around the world. I’ll admit, I was intimidated at first as each member of my cohort introduced themselves and their roles. But it didn’t take long to realize that the experiences and challenges I’ve had at Rowan have equipped me to contribute meaningfully in rooms like that. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m even more grateful to be part of an organization that believes in the value and potential of nurses.
2025 was one for the books at Rowan. We opened 37 new studios across 4 new states, reaching 100 studios nationwide and bringing safer, nurse-led ear piercing to more communities than ever. Here are a few highlights from the year: ✨1M+ ear piercings performed ✨Trademarked the Rowan Clinical Piercing Standard® ✨25K+ five-star reviews received in 2025 alone ✨550+ nurses hired, bringing the team to nearly 1,000 members strong We launched new products inspired by our customers, collaborated with brands we love, and—most importantly—earned the trust of families across generations.
