On day 4 of our spotlight of Panda Cares, we're shining a light on our Panda Cares Centers of Hope. Panda creates safe spaces where youth can learn, play and receive the necessary support to become their best selves. Through our partnerships with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we help establish Panda Cares Centers of Hope (PCCOH) programs for patients and students nationwide. These spaces are made possible by Panda Express associates and guests who contribute to our in-store donation program, as well as pledges made through the Panda Associate Giving Campaign. Our operations associates make happy happen at the PCCOHs, providing meals and fun activities for patients and students. #PandaCares #GivingBack #GlobalVolunteerMonth

It's day 2 of our Panda Cares LinkedIn takeover to celebrate Global Volunteer Month this April! Today, we get an inside look at the people that make Panda Cares possible. ā¤ļøCore Team: The Panda Cares department is made up of eight associates dedicated to fostering a culture of compassion and community support. Each member brings a unique set of skills and a shared passion for making an impact. ā¤ļøSupport Center Representatives: 34 Support Center associates from various departments coordinated over 619 food donations in 2024, serving as liaisons between community organizations and store teams. ā¤ļøOperations Champions: 47 field leaders across the country promote our value of giving to store associates and celebrate the impact made via the in-store donation program and food donations. At Panda, our mission extends beyond serving delicious food, we strive to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The opening of our new Davenport, Iowa, location recently reminded us of the profound impact these experiences can have. Our very first guest, Mr. Richard Bechert, camped out overnight and braved 35-degree weather to continue a beloved family tradition for his grandson, Maddux. Mr. Bechert's son, who tragically passed away last year, had always shared a tradition with Maddux of attending grand openings together. Mr. Bechert, in his grief and love, wanted to ensure this cherished tradition continued, even in his son's absence. Mr. Bechert's story of remembrance deeply moved our associates. They prepared a special basket for him and his grandson, inviting them to return with their family. The response we received afterward truly embodied why we do what we do: "I want to thank you for making my grandson the happiest we have seen him since the passing of his dad,ā Mr. Bechert wrote. At Panda, we want to be part of your memories and traditions. This is the heart of our mission: to inspire people to better their lives. Weāre honored to be part of Mr. Bechertās story.
