At POET Bioprocessing – Chancellor, SD, science and nature converge to power the future. The facility is unique in that it gets nearly half of its energy from recycled sources. An 11-mile pipeline supplies it with biogas from the Sioux Falls Landfill, and the plant's solid fuel boiler turns several hundred tons of wood chips from recycled pallets, waste wood from downed trees, and wood targets from a local axe-throwing business into power. After the holidays, it even uses recycled Christmas trees. 🎄 Read more about POET – Chancellor and its world-class team in the latest issue of Vital: https://bit.ly/3HGSSnt
