What a happy new year it is for Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, which has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval and the American Stroke Association's certification as a Primary Stroke Center. Earning this recognition is a milestone for the hospital as it requires meeting a rigorous set of standards. Methodist Midlothian President Jary Ganske says the certification "demonstrates that our physicians, nurses, and clinical teams are prepared to provide the right care at the right time for our community.”

It's a big week at Methodist Midlothian! Hospital leaders and City of Midlothian, Texas - City Hall - Government officials came together to celebrate the hospital's 5th anniversary AND to break ground on an emergency room expansion. The ER is adding 16 new exams rooms and an additional trauma room. This week's celebration was especially meaningful because the hospital opened during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic so we all couldn't get together for that occasion. Happy 5th Anniversary, Methodist Midlothian! 💙
