Mass General Hospital, a founding member of Mass General Brigham, has scored 100 on the Disability Equality Index, which is an objective, reflective, forward-thinking, and confidential disability rating tool designed to assist businesses in advancing inclusion practices. Each company receives a score on a scale of zero (0) to 100, with those earning 80 and above recognized as “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion.” Now celebrating its 10th year, the Disability Equality Index has become the leading independent, third-party resource for the annual benchmarking corporate disability inclusion policies and programs. It is trusted by over 70% of the Fortune 100 and nearly half of the Fortune 500.
Mass General Brigham hospitals continue to be ranked among the best in the country. Our founding members, Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, have once again been named to the Honor Roll among the top-performing hospitals in the nation. Massachusetts General Hospital ranked #1 in the nation in Psychiatry, followed by McLean Hospital at #2. Brigham and Women’s Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology ranked #1 nationwide for the third year in a row. Spaulding Rehabilitation ranked #3 in the nation for Rehabilitation, while Mass Eye and Ear ranked #4 in the nation for Ophthalmology and #6 for Otolaryngology.
