Today, we recognize hashtag#Juneteenth, commemorating June 19, 1865-the day when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. At MGO, we honor this moment in history by reflecting on the resilience of those who came before us and reaffirming our commitment to equity, inclusion, and respect for all. Let's continue to learn from the past and work together toward a more inclusive future.
As we closed out Asian American & Pacific Islander Month at MGO, and wanted to feature two of our AAPI Employee Community Group (ECG) leaders, Zosia Jiang and Deborah Vang, who truly embrace a legacy of leadership and resilience.
