Cyber Essentials Certified in the UK 🇬🇧 Teachers already juggle a lot. Lesson planning, marking, supporting students, managing classrooms — and doing it all with care and consistency every day. The last thing they should have to worry about is whether the tools they use are secure. That’s why we’re proud to share that Edpuzzle has achieved Cyber Essentials certification — a UK government-backed standard focused on protecting systems and data against common cyber threats. For UK schools using Edpuzzle, this certification provides an additional layer of reassurance around data protection. For us internally, it reflects something deeper: a shared commitment to building technology that educators can trust. Security isn’t a feature we add on at the end. It’s part of how we design, build, and improve our product. Achieving Cyber Essentials is the result of collaboration across teams — from engineering and IT to legal and operations — all working toward the same goal. We believe technology should reduce stress in the classroom, not create more of it. Earning this certification is one more step in making sure it does exactly that.
Celebrating 10 Years at Edpuzzle 🎉 We’re thrilled to celebrate a major milestone: Xavi’s 10th anniversary with Edpuzzle! 💙 Over the past decade, Xavi Francas has grown alongside the company, helping shape not just what we build, but how we work together. His curiosity, commitment, and care reflect the values that make Edpuzzle such a special place to work. At Edpuzzle, we believe that when people feel trusted, supported, and challenged, they thrive — and Xavi’s journey is a perfect example of that. Thank you, Xavi, for 10 years of impact, growth, and heart. Here’s to the next chapter!
Reflecting on Bett Global 2026 🚀 It was incredible connecting with educators, sharing tips, and exploring new ways to make learning interactive. We also loved giving sneak peeks of what’s coming next for Edpuzzle. A huge shoutout to our amazing team, your passion, creativity, and energy are what make Edpuzzle shine. Events like this remind us why we do what we do: building tools that empower teachers and students every day.
Always Learning, Always Building 🚀 At Edpuzzle, curiosity is in our DNA. We know that the next big challenge isn’t whether to use AI, but how to use it effectively in our day-to-day work. AI tools are evolving quickly, and staying ahead means investing in learning. That’s why our hands-on AI workshop was so valuable. A huge thank you to Codely for partnering with our team, sharing practical insights, and helping us turn curiosity into real skills. Learning together is how we keep innovating, improving, and pushing Edpuzzle forward, one step at a time.
Standing Against Violence: Fostering Inclusive Workplaces 💜 In November, we had the honor of attending a roundtable breakfast organized by Fundación Adecco to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Carmen Giménez, an inspiring ambassador of the foundation, shared her personal story as a survivor of violence. Her testimony was powerful, moving, and a stark reminder of the impact such experiences can have on women’s lives and careers. The discussion brought together companies to explore how workplaces can become true agents of change — offering support, guidance, and opportunities for women in vulnerable situations. We left with renewed conviction: inclusion and equality are not just values to aspire to, they are actions we must practice every day. At Edpuzzle, we are committed to fostering environments where everyone feels safe, respected, and empowered. Today and every day, we stand in solidarity with survivors and advocate for workplaces free from violence.
Spotlight on the Human Factor ✨ Our People & Culture team recently attended the Human Factor event in Barcelona, diving into discussions about the future of HR and how to foster a thriving workplace culture. It was an incredible opportunity to learn from industry leaders, share experiences, and explore new approaches to creating an engaging, supportive environment for our teams. Our colleagues returned inspired, bringing fresh ideas and insights to help make Edpuzzle an even better place to work. At Edpuzzle, we believe continuous learning and collaboration, both within our company and across industries, are key to driving positive change in the workplace.
We believe that education is for everyone, and so is opportunity. Recently, a group of Edpuzzlers spent a morning volunteering with Fundación Adecco, joining a series of activities designed to foster creativity, teamwork, and genuine human connection with people with disabilities. From building with LEGO, to exploring robotics, and even strategizing through a bot-car circuit, every challenge reminded us of something essential: how powerful collaboration, curiosity, and inclusion can be when we work together toward a common goal. It was a morning full of laughter, learning, and reflection, a chance to connect, share experiences, and see firsthand the value of empathy in action. At Edpuzzle, we’re proud to be part of a team that values empathy as much as innovation, and that measures impact not only in the products we build, but in the people and communities we touch.
At Edpuzzle, we’re passionate about technology, collaboration, and continuous learning, and our Tech Discovery Event is one of the ways we bring that spirit to life. On October 16th, we hosted the second edition of the Edpuzzle Tech Discovery at our Barcelona office, and it turned out to be an inspiring afternoon filled with ideas, conversations, and community. We were joined by professionals from across the tech world, curious minds eager to share experiences and exchange insights. The talks by Asier Zapata and Diana Gamez sparked rich discussions about innovation, creativity, and how technology can make an impact when collaboration is at its core. The event was also a wonderful reminder of how vibrant and welcoming Barcelona’s tech community is. These connections remind us that building great products starts with bringing passionate people together. A huge thank you to Software Crafters Barcelona for partnering with us and helping create such an engaging and dynamic space. Your collaboration made the day truly special. Events like this reflect what we value most at Edpuzzle: curiosity, teamwork, and the joy of discovery. We can’t wait for the next one! 🚀
At Edpuzzle, we know teachers have a lot on their plates. Between lesson planning, grading, and engaging students, the last thing anyone should have to worry about is data security or student privacy. Our mission has always been to make learning more engaging, and that starts with creating a platform educators can trust. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to share some important milestones that reflect our ongoing commitment to keeping classrooms safe and data protected. 🛡️ SOC 2 Type II Certified for the Fourth Year in a Row We’ve once again renewed our SOC 2 Type II certification, one of the most widely recognized international standards for data security. This certification confirms that our systems are secure, reliable, and available — so teachers and schools can rely on Edpuzzle with confidence. 🇪🇸 ENS Certified in Spain We also achieved the National Security Scheme (ENS) certification in Spain, which recognizes organizations that meet the most rigorous cybersecurity standards set by Spanish public administrations. These milestones aren’t just technical achievements — they’re a reflection of our values. Security and privacy are baked into everything we do, from product development to how we handle data internally. And, of course, none of this would be possible without our incredible team, the people who work behind the scenes every day to make Edpuzzle safer, more transparent, and more trustworthy. 💪
🎉 Edpuzzle just turned 12! But instead of just cake and balloons, we decided to celebrate the Edpuzzle way: by going back to the classroom! We invited Fernando Martí from Escola Pia Gandia to take us through a real class, reminding us what it feels like to be on the other side of the screen, and showing firsthand how teachers use Edpuzzle every day. 💡 The session didn’t stop there. We also opened a space for co-creation, brainstorming together how to keep improving Edpuzzle so it continues to meet the real needs of teachers and students around the world. Because at Edpuzzle, our mission has always been clear: 🧑🏫 Empower teachers. 👨🎓 Engage students. 🏫 Build with the classroom in mind. As we celebrate 12 years of impact, we’re as committed as ever to building a product that makes a real difference in education. 🚀 A huge congratulations to our amazing team for 12 years of passion, creativity, and impact, and a special thanks to Fernando, whose energy and insight reminded us why we do what we do. 💙
