We were excited to be a part of the Northern Strike exercise at the Camp Grayling JMTC in Michigan! Our #Stalker #UAS demonstrated successful precision fires support, providing targets and geolocation to long range artillery teams, as well as overall #ISR support. Northern Strike is a large-scale exercise with participation from various branches of the U.S. military and international partners. With a focus on enhancing #readiness and #interoperability in diverse, challenging environments, Northern Strike trains for joint operations and decisive action missions including offense, defense, and stability. The exercise is the premier reserve component #training event designed to build #readiness with joint and partner forces in all domains of warfare. At the beginning of the year we took part in the #Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiment, where we showcased our #technology for future forces. More than 50 concepts and capabilities were assessed with specific focus on supporting cross domain maneuvers. Our #Stalker #UAS flew live fire exercises, uncrewed #aircraft system stakes, simulated force-on-force experiment, and force-on-force exercise. The assessment focused on the system’s ability to detect, recognize, identify, and engage targets in an operational environment. Operating at the #battalion level and relaying all threat data to the Company Commander, an overwhelming majority of #soldiers rated the Stalker as very effective for overall operations. The Edge Autonomy Riga team had the pleasure of welcoming three talented young innovators from Latvia to our facility. They were joined by representatives from Enģeļa Sirds (Angel Hearts) as part of the Spārno Talantus (Wings for Talents) initiative — a project dedicated to empowering gifted youth in Latvia. Enģeļa Sirds is a Latvian non-profit organization committed to supporting gifted children and youth who have limited access to resources and opportunities. Its mission is to foster personal growth, encourage early career exploration, and provide access to educational experiences such as camps, private lessons, and skill-building programs. The visiting students are active participants in the Spārno Talantus project and are currently working on innovative projects including 3D-printed drones and a modular control system that functions as a unique “brain” that can be easily transferred between an RC car, boat, or drone for seamless operation. Accompanied by Enģeļa Sirds representatives, the students toured Edge Autonomy’s facility, explored our prototyping processes, and gained hands-on insights into our drone systems and production workflows. The Edge Autonomy team is demonstrating our #Stalker #UAS and #ISR #payload solutions at the Maneuver and Fires Integration Experiment (#MFIX) this week at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Held each year by the US Army, MFIX is a great opportunity to focus on integrating and testing technologies that benefit the warfighter in roles like reconnaissance and air defense capabilities. Our live UAS demo operations showcase ease of integration for the Army's Air Defense and Field Artillery needs, along with the collaboration between UAS and precision fires to deliver expedited and accurate effects on target. Long range reconnaissance is also key to Army missions and a focus of the DoD UAS activities, and MFIX activities allow us to coordinate directly with Army personnel to demonstrate the Stalker's #LRR capabilities and modularity in real-world mission situations.
