We'd like to thank Cristo Rey for hosting us at your Partnership Appreciation event this past week! We’ve been proud partners of Cristo Rey for the past three years through the Corporate Work Study Program. This school year, we had the pleasure of welcoming 15 incredible Cristo Rey interns who supported our Student Enrollment & Recruitment, Data, and Operations teams. It’s been an honor to collaborate in creating meaningful workforce development opportunities and guidance for the youth of East Harlem.
We were honored to welcome award-winning author Zadie Smith to East Harlem Scholars Academy High School for a powerful conversation with our scholars on writing, identity, and the impact of storytelling.
We want to thank @eastharlemcoad, an organization dedicated to strengthening emergency readiness in our community, for coming out to our East Harlem Scholars Academy Campus and presenting to some of our scholars all about emergency readiness!
Congratulations to our 1880 Warriors Robotics team, who just claimed the Championship Engineering Inspiration Award at the FIRST World Championships in Texas.
A few days ago, our students had an amazing opportunity to learn about financial literacy thanks to our longtime partners at @pwc_pricewaterhousecoopers!
Ms. Gonzalez and Ms. Lopez had a blast at the Bronx-Manhattan Charter School Fair & Kids Activity Expo. Families throughout were able to learn more about our campuses and resources as well as network with other organizations!
