We are thrilled to welcome our new trainees this week! π At Crowe, we invest in our people to help them be the best they can be. With over 530 trainees currently working and training at Crowe, we offer a choice of programs for school leavers and graduates. Throughout the programme, they will be guided through a tailored training plan that supports their professional and personal development, helping them achieve their qualifications and become fully-rounded professionals. Over the last six weeks, we have been delighted to once again welcome our new 2025 interns as part of the 10,000 Black Interns foundation. We caught up with our 18 interns to hear about their time at Crowe and why it's important for companies to support such initiatives.
βοΈπͺ At Crowe we know the importance of playing our part in building an inclusive, sustainable, and resilient future through economic growth, social inclusion and environmental protection. Last month, during #VolunteersWeek, we were delighted to team up with HandsOn to help with a special project in Manchester. Over two days our team of volunteers helped construct a new communal shelter with seating and tables and installed a new set of climbing bars and a tyre balancing game for the children and women that use the charity. π Take a look at what we got up to!
π³οΈβπAs part of our 2025 Pride Month celebrations, we visited the The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, one of the oldest LGBTQ+ venues in the UK, where Steven Edwards, Partner, Insolvency and Restructuring, caught up with Chief Operations Officer, Roger Walker, and National Head of HR, Joanne Bloomfield, to discuss who and what inspires them, the importance of fostering an inclusive culture, and how they express pride in identity and allyship. As Pride Month celebrations begin, we look back at hashtag#BirminghamPride2025 on 24 May where we walked alongside our colleagues, friends and families. Earth Day 2025 π As we celebrated Earth Day earlier this week, we take a look at Crowe UK's impact on the environment through our benefits platform Furthr. For every employee benefit selection made through Furthr, a tree is planted in one of their dedicated reforestation sites in Nepal and Madagascar. We act sustainably. We are committed. #WeAreCrowe.
