Founded in 2008 by our co-founders Marc, Barry, and Brian, Camp Out for Kids (COFK) was built on a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of summer camp. Camp is where kids build confidence, discover new interests, form meaningful connections, and create memories that last a lifetime. Yet for many families, access to summer camp remains out of reach. COFK exists to change that. Through partnerships with camps and community organizations, COFK helps remove financial barriers and open the door to these formative experiences. To date, the organization has raised more than $6.4 million and sent 11,144 kids to camp across the country. This year, COFK’s All-Star Annual Fundraiser will take place in Chicago on April 30, bringing together supporters, partners, and friends to celebrate campers and push the mission forward (and enjoy a great night with great company). If you’re in Chicago, we hope you’ll join us at the event. If you’re supporting from afar, donations can be made online. As a student housing owner and operator, we don’t take it lightly that students and families choose us during such a formative chapter of life. Our communities are where students live, study, grow, and make memories throughout college. That responsibility matters to us. As the year winds down, we’re encouraging our residents to slow down, spend time with loved ones and reflect on how far they've come. College moves fast. Live a little bit more in the now.

Last week, we brought Hall of Famer Derek Jeter back to the University of Michigan to kick off the first-ever Hub Field Games – an action-packed day of competition and community where student organizations and clubs went head-to-head in a series of field day challenges. In partnership with Cap2 Productions and University of Michigan Athletics, we brought together nostalgia, school spirit, and unforgettable moments, including Jeter himself cheering on the competitors. With Hub Ann Arbor William now leasing for the 26-27 school year, it was time to reintroduce our Hub brand in a big way and reconnect with U of M students. What better way than bringing Jeter to town to lead participants in some friendly competition? It was epic. Creating moments like this is what we’re all about. We can’t wait to welcome residents to Hub Ann Arbor William next year.
