Our Raleigh team recently kicked off its first Adopt-A-Highway cleanup of 2026, continuing a long-standing commitment to caring for the communities where we live and work. A special thank you to Paul Bowman, who has led this effort since 2013, and to all the volunteers who dedicated their time to helping keep North Carolina beautiful. Their commitment reflects our values in action and demonstrates how small efforts can create meaningful impact. Together, we are helping build healthier communities and a cleaner environment for all.

Our Crop Metabolism team recently spent a #volunteer day helping restore a local woodland by removing invasive birch saplings, supporting healthier growth for native plants. A great reminder that small actions can make a big impact on the enviroments in our local communities. A bonus widlife sighting made the day even more special!

In 2000, Jim Foster oversaw the initial public offering of Charles River on the New York Stock Exchange. Over the last 26 years, he has led tremendous growth in our organization, making us a global, trusted partner for the biopharmaceutical industry. His 50-year career with Charles River highlights the critical impact one individual can have, not only on a company, but on an industry. In honor of Jim's 50th Anniversary, and ringing the bell at the NYSE earlier this week, we're sharing a look back at 26 years on the trading floor.
