Meet Andy Floyd, one of our dedicated emergency engineers. Outside of his crucial work, Andy commits his time to an extraordinary cause — keeping nearly 350 war graves immaculate. As a volunteer for the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, he’s dedicated to honouring the memories of the 300,000 soldiers, sailors, and airmen from the World Wars who rest in the UK. 👏 A former Royal Engineer, Andy has taken the lead in maintaining 302 graves in Warrington, 11 in Padgate, and 30 in Knutsford. At Cadent, we believe in giving back, and every employee receives two days’ extra leave for volunteering. Andy uses this time to ensure these heroes are remembered and respected. 🎖 “We should always honour them and keep their memory alive. I can think of no better way to use the two days volunteering that Cadent gives me,” says Andy. 🌟 We’re proud to share Andy's story during #VolunteersWeek (3rd to 9th June).
