The Alliance Laundry Systems Engineers have done it again! Their annual brat and burger fry raised $1045 for the Green Lake Area Animal Shelter. Alliance Laundry Cares will match that (plus a little extra!) for a total donation of $2145! Thank you to everyone who stopped by to make a donation and have some lunch! Can you believe all this cuteness? This little dude and his family just moved into the 34th Habitat for Humanity home in Fond du Lac County. Alliance Laundry Cares is very proud to partner with Habitat chapters to supply brand new Speed Queen laundry equipment for their home builds. Together, we are bringing cleanliness, comfort and dignity to those who are most vulnerable in our communities.
One of our favorite days of the year is finally here! We're thrilled to welcome 24 talented interns and co-op students from across the Midwest to our Ripon location this summer. These aspiring "Laundry Nerds" will dive into a world of opportunities to learn, grow, and earn money for their education. This experience isn't just about summer fun - many of these bright minds transition to full-time roles with us after graduation. Our seasoned team members are eager to embrace the fresh perspectives and vibrant energy our interns and co-ops bring to the table. Join us in welcoming this incredible group as they begin their time with us!
Caring for the community with clean laundry? Promoting early childhood literacy? We’re in! Alliance Laundry Cares enthusiastically partnered with The Laundry Station in Wichita and the LaundryCares Foundation for the very first LaundryCares Free Laundry and Literacy event in Kansas. More than 90 families enjoyed a free laundry day. Alliance Laundry Cares donated a Read, Play, and Learn Space for the laundromat so kids can have access to books and a fun space while their parents do the wash. A HUGE THANK YOU to the Alliance team members at our Ripon location who have popped down the street to help the local Boys & Girls Club get ready for their opening. Our employees know a thing or two about assembling a quality product! Our team has spent hours putting together bookcases, play areas, napping cots... it's a long list. Along with the rest of the world, the Alliance team is deeply saddened and concerned with the tragic loss of life and property caused by the California wildfires. As the area recovers, we are stepping up to help by doing what we do best… provide the world’s leading laundry equipment. Through Alliance Laundry Cares, we are gifting up to five Los Angeles County Fire Departments with our NFPA 1851-compliant Unimac machines with cycles for PPE gear. These machines help keep firefighters’ gear clean and ready for the next call. We are humbled by the bravery and dedication shown by these firefighters. Thank you. And thank you to our California team members who are working to make these donations possible.
It’s a Valentine’s PAWty! Our Ripon team members are big supporters of the local animal shelter AND they love a good potluck. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, they combined their two loves and raised money for Green Lake Area Animal Shelter. Alliance Laundry Cares pitched in for a total of almost $700 to help animals in need. The team members also donated food, kitty litter, laundry detergent and other supplies. Way to spread the love Team Alliance!
Alliance Laundry Systems values lifelong learning, and we are delighted to once again offer scholarships through the Alliance Laundry Cares program. Scholarships are available for colleges, universities, technical colleges, and trade schools. This is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to our team members and the communities where they live and work. Six scholarships are available for the children of US-based Alliance Laundry Systems employees who are graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled at a college or university, or trade or technical school. Children includes the natural child, adopted child or stepchild of a team member. For the past several years, Alliance Laundry Cares has provided funding and advisors for the Ripon High School Robotics Team. The team stopped by our Ripon offices this morning to say thank you and demonstrate their competition robot. Throughout the season, the students build their problem-solving and teamwork skills as they gain engineering and robotics knowledge. Many of the team members plan to pursue careers in the engineering field and some are currently doing internships with Alliance. We’re so glad the students were able to visit and share their success! Here’s to a winning season in 2025!
