At AMH, we don’t just serve our communities. We live in them, too. 🏡 Our dispersed team inhabits the same regions where we operate and conduct business. That’s why we feel a sense of responsibility to be a force for good wherever we are. Through our AMH Cares program, we work to strengthen our neighbors and neighborhoods with initiatives and investments that expand opportunity and help respond to critical needs. Our support aims to address some of society’s toughest challenges, such as housing insecurity and related issues like access to food, childcare supplies, healthcare, education, employment, and environmental health. Most recently, the AMH team spent an afternoon with Get Outdoors Nevada, helping to clean up and beautify a local park by collecting microtrash, which presents a serious health risk to both community members and wildlife across the ecosystem. 🌎 This April, we join the international community in observing Global Volunteer Month to celebrate the positive difference that volunteers make and to encourage more people to get involved.

In a new public opinion poll, 85% of respondents across partisan lines said they believe that ensuring everyone has a safe and affordable place to live should get national attention.
