Our expert Rapid Recovery team safely and efficiently recovered refrigerant, even from hard-to-reach rooftops. Recently, the A-Gas Rapid Recovery team in the Americas hit a significant environmental milestone: recovering over 3,300 lbs of R410A refrigerant during the decommissioning of 222 cooling units across five buildings at a major data centre. By doing this safely and compliantly, we not only prevented the potentially harmful release of gases to the atmosphere but also reinforced our commitment to lifecycle refrigerant management. At A-Gas, we love to celebrate success. We are lucky to have so much fantastic work happening around the A-Gas Group, that every quarter, we host the A-Gas Awards for Excellence. Each quarter, awards are presented based on our A-Gas core values of Purpose Driven, Customer Focused and Teamwork. Choosing winners for these awards is never an easy task for our Executive Team, with a high volume of impressive nominations being submitted every quarter! It’s inspiring to see so much passion, commitment, and collaboration across the Group. This quarter, we want to spotlight the winner of our Purpose Driven Award, Andrew Wright, who has been critical in the evolution of how A-Gas reports its data. He has worked closely with our global teams to understand what data needs to be presented and where it is sourced from. Andrew's work means that data is now more automated in lots of areas, making the process more efficient for all using it, as well as making the data centralised and easy to access.
