Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear that your time at Élan Academy left you feeling unsupported and undervalued. While it’s disappointing to learn that some of your interactions with our team did not reflect the culture we strive to build, I appreciate you sharing your perspective.
I took time to deeply listen, reflect, and assess where we were as a team and where we needed to grow. Since then, we have implemented new leadership structures and have hired a full team of new instructional coaches who are committed to coaching with clarity, compassion, and a strong focus on student outcomes. We have even adopted solutions-oriented as one of our team values.
We are also continuing to train our leaders to give direct, constructive feedback in a way that is growth-oriented and professionally grounded. We definitely sweat the small stuff to make sure we are growing as fast as possible for our scholars but understand how that can feel nit-picky. Our goal is always to create a culture where feedback supports both the development of our teachers and the success of our scholars.
While we may not always get everything right, we are deeply committed to getting better. Your feedback has helped inform that ongoing process, and I sincerely thank you for that.
Wishing you all the best in your career and continued growth ahead.
