      The remote AE role I'd actually recommend to a friend

      Pros

      Fully remote with real autonomy over how you run your territory. As an AE you get a genuine enterprise and mid-market book to build, not just leads handed to you on a script. The product sits in a growing part of martech (local search and AI search visibility), so the conversations with multi-location brands are timely and the value is easy to demonstrate. Management trusts you to operate. My manager is direct, backs you in deals, and escalates with you instead of leaving you to fight alone. The BDR and sales leadership support is real, and exec sponsors will get on calls when a deal needs weight behind it. Good place if you want to own complex, multi-stakeholder deals end to end.

      Cons

      I would not call there cons, but good to be aware of. In this market things move fast and priorities can shift, so you need to be comfortable with ambiguity and managing your own pipeline discipline. Not a fit for anyone who wants everything handed to them in a fixed playbook.

      Remote work flexibility overshadowed by toxic politics

      Pros

      Fully remote culture and enables you to work across a large range of time zones

      Cons

      Extremely political and toxic. C-levels are in their own clique and the way to survive this company is to put blame on others, which result in an extremely hostile environment. Managers don’t know how to manage, and are instead messengers for leadership without strategic direction. This can be seen with the many firing and layoffs that happen every month. These happen quietly so no one really recognizes the pattern. The only people that stay long term are those that suck up to management.

      Supportive leadership with strong communication, but product gaps exist

      I feel supported, sales motion is well defined. Leadership cares about improvement and is great at giving feedback. Great cross department communication too

      Cons

      Sometimes senior leadership thinks product is further along than its current level of usability. i dont think this is unique of our company, typical saas thing
