Pros

None, its just work exchanging your time for less than minimum wage

Cons

My experience(s) working at Ngeneration is that of a very poor company who value their employees zero, and customer not much higher. They hire literally anyone to fulfil any role, what you will struggle to find is anyone who is actually qualified to do their job. It seems saying yes is all you need. Staff turnover is extremely high. Ngeneration do advise there will be driving, over nights and long hours as the multiple copy paste replies state. They do not make you aware you will be doing 15-19hr days to arrive at jobs other engineers wasted 3-4hrs (incomplete) yesterday. Ngeneration recoup this today from you, for free. Fee's and charges are common, 8 days deducted are never returned. Worst company I have worked for.

Unprofessional place to work

Pros

Service desk had some pretty amazing people.

Cons

Unfortunatley there were alot of cons. Rota was a mess for a very long time, whilst weekends and bank holidays are a time you will work as stated there wasn't any organisation or fairness when conducting shifts. You could come in and see shifts have changed for the week you're in without any notice. They then went to 13 hours shifts and whilst this meant the rota was much more organised, it was still very exhausting and higher-ups would not listen to your feelings in regards to this or anything else that might concern you. There was no consultation or "poll" of sorts before going to 13 hours. Just this is whats happening, don't like it? There's the door. They have very little interest in keeping the staff they have happy or giving them any real incentive to work there, no proper training, poor salary and put as much work on you with little to no appreciation shown, which is why they have had such a high turnover. Worked there for a year and not one month went by without someone handing their notice in. Any serious complaint or grievance that was made, i.e regarding homophobia and sexual harassment was pretty much ignored whilst I was there. When I handed my notice in, it wasn't acknowledged, I felt even more unappreciated and devalued then I already was in the time I was working there.

Thank you for the feedback you have provided. During our recruitment and induction processes we are open and honest with all individuals regarding the policies and procedures for the Company, as well as the shift patterns and rotas for our Service Desk. The only amendments made to the team rota are to support the team taking annual leave or to cover periods of sickness. We have a team structure in place and feel that this offers individuals room for growth and progression. We also advertise all of our vacancies internally so that individuals are aware of progression opportunities within both their own department and the wider Company. Any complaints or grievances made are taken very seriously by the Company and are fully investigated by our HR Team. If individuals feel that they are unable to discuss issues or concerns with their Line Manager then our HR Team are available to talk to.

Pros

It's hard to find anything good to say.

Cons

This company provides helpdesk and support services to Pub chains for their POS systems. They have a staff of engineers that install and maintain systems in a few pub chains in the Midlands and from their office run a support centre for these pubs. However, if they can find a client they will find the staff to go out there to support them. Few of their staff stay long.
