Pros

Amazing coworkers Okay starting pay depending on role Cool building and technology Fulfilling work when interacting with customers and the businesses and hearing them light up when you helped them find a solution.

Cons

Remote work seems to be a negative, but they’ll hire people for remote jobs. The policy for the company is very archaic and instead of supporting the normalcy in software for remote work, they shun it, because upper management doesn’t trust their people. The company culture is nonexistent with barely any recognition of people, events are just usually food, nothing fun. We get snacks in the building but that is about it. Management doesn’t appreciate the employees. Management has become more focused on profits and don’t really care about the people anymore. If they can replace you with an offshore job, they probably will. The culture of celebrating what we do for our customers and how good it felt to know what we were doing helps people is no longer a thing because of upper management. There is now a culture of intimidating to force certain deadlines to get met even though it was the managers fault they weren’t going to be met.

Pros

The employees at iClassPro are high-quality people, almost universally kind and genuine. The culture is generally positive. The work is meaningful, with thousands of direct clients and millions of their clients generating a lot more positive feedback than negative. The company is still young and there is a real sense of growth and opportunities for advancement. On top of base pay, there is monthly profit sharing and a Christmas bonus. Benefits are alright.

Cons

Unless in a rare circumstance you are hired to work fully remote, there are no work-from-home opportunities, regardless of your role, and regardless of whether that is written policy. Remote work isn't something the upper leadership believe in, logical justification is not given for this, and mentioning it gets your hand slapped. Lack of transparency leads to general mistrust. When employees aren't properly equipped, they are shut down and controlled instead. Pay isn't competitive, even with the profit sharing.
