Pros

Managers were so friendly, welcoming and very easy to get along with.

Cons

Extremely unreliable, there is no warning if they will take you on for your shift or not, you can be sent home no matter what time due to over staffing, Even if you are booked with their coach. Spent a lot of hours travelling to get to work at some really great gigs to show up early and be sent home immediately.

Cons

Unsupportive when it comes to staff. Gets rid of your account without a valid reason. Takes on board the lies told by their supervisor/team leader. Doesn’t support their staff.

You will meet some lovely people - this is the only saving grace

Cons

Shifts cancelled last minute, transport cancelled last minute, never told shift times until you actually get to the events. Management will talk to you like genuine dirt and expect to get away with it, call centre staff don't seem to have a clue what they're doing and will say you are confirmed for a shift when they haven't confirmed you properly. This once happened to me - I called up and did everything I was supposed to on my end and was told everything was in order for me to work a certain festival. I drove over an hour and was turned away because of the incompetency of the office staff. Seriously stay away from this absolute joke of a company. If you're wanting to work festivals then get on festival jobs facebook groups and do it that way or literally any other agency.

Pros

They very occasionally provide transport to big events. Easy online sign up with no interview.

When I arrived at the five-day festival, I was told beforehand that there would be catering. After a rude introduction from the hap tent, I proceeded to set my tent up. There was no catering on day one, disappointing. Then catering on the following days were scraps! For people working long 10-hour shifts for several days, under heavy pressure, exerting themselves, people need proper, real food! Not a long-life croissant and stale sandwich in a dirty environment (the catering tent was never clean and water was dripping from the tent roof into the instant coffee). "Dinner" was abysmal - only providing a small frozen microwave meal late at night in the dark behind the bar tent. Disgusting, so I was forced to decline and go hungry yet again as they would not provide any alternative. The whole time I felt shuttled around like cattle. They assigned shift times per day then kept changing the shift times by word of mouth during the festival, so people were always confused. When I returned to the campsite on the last evening, the hap tent had already packed up and gone! Not a care in the world, didn't let anyone know, so I had no point of contact. Very bad communication from management. All in all, I would not return for any more shifts with hap solutions, don't waste your time and effort, find a better company!

Pros

Festival experience Long hours, multiple days = quick money

Cons

Staffing management are awful, unorganised, rude, incompetent and mardy, usually hungover or on a comedown. Most bar managers who are friendly with the staffing managers are also rude, you basically get treated as if you’re an idiot because you haven’t been working festivals for 10 years like them. Treatment of staff is bad. Lunches are awful, like rations. Breaks are awful. You often get told to go on your only break 30mins into a 8hr shift??? Sometimes you can travel hours to get to a 12hr shift, only to be told to go home 4 hours in because they overbooked the staff. Pay is minimum wage, not fair for the long hours and hard work especially if working stock, whereas managers who do barely anything get loads.
