Pros

They give you a paycheck every week.

Cons

Former Employee : I used to work in this place. While working there, I saw a lot of people been hired for ridiculously one to three days. When your getting fired, They don't even inform you that your getting fired, they make you go there, and than fire you. (they walk you out). Management sucks big time. The top people in the company don't even seem to care that much about the employees. it was apparent to me that they had favorites, and if the manager didn't like you for whatever reason, you could get written up, and than fired. The leads and managers they choose don't know a thing of what their doing. They never get the training to be able to help the employees. (These are people who are favorites of the top people in the company, who literally all they do is sit and talk too much, laughing loudly, as if they own the place, and also do the same thing walking around, trying to look important). They only sit on their desk, talk and talk and talk, and get angry with you if you go ask for help. Also, you will never earn more than ten dollars working here. I knew a lot of co-workers, that worked really hard, always friendly to everyone, that knew how to do everything in the warehouse, who had been with the company for over two to three, who never got a raise of more than 30 cents. It is really obvious that they don't care about the employees here. Do your-self a favor and look some place else for a job. AVOID WORKING HERE!!!!!!

Pros

Not too hard of a job at first. Things were much simpler. Management was nice. Metrics were important but not important enough to fire you if you didn't meet them. The people you work with are also pretty cool usually. Consistent schedules are also great. Weekly pay is also awesome. Breaks weren't bad, although I wish they were longer for a ten-hour workday.

Cons

Let's get real: The pay sucks. Starts you off at $10/hr and that almost never changes. The work environment is lacking. Very boring, depressing environment where employees and management look both unmotivated and bored. Nobody has a positive attitude except a very small amount of people. But that's okay, it's understandable for such a terrible job. I hate being here too. Unprofessional environment: (and just so we're clear I am not judgmental, I am just telling the truth here) TONS of drug abusers that are employees at this warehouse. TONS. They have no drug test whatsoever upon being hired. Many times I have witnessed the smell of weed in the parking lot after my shift. I have also seen people injecting themselves with needles in their car on break. Hell, I've seen my fair share of coke heads snorting coke in the bathroom and being really loud (then getting fired later on for making too much noise). I have also seen one of the supervisors (I will keep the name anonymous) talking about other female employees in the warehouse in a very sexual manner behind their back. Nothing about this environment is professional, yet they have professional expectations, which contradicts itself in the first place. Unrealistic expectations: For all jobs in the warehouse, there are metrics to be met. Basically numbers of how many items you have to either get shipped, received, stocked per hour. It used to be that if you didn't meet those goals, then you wouldn't get a promotion. Well, it's changed. Now you get fired if you don't meet those goals. And the bad thing about that is this: there are many times that I have received a terrible shipment for numbers. All of the parts are gigantic and heavy, and it is much harder to scan them and put a sticker on them, and in general they just take a lot longer per item. The thing is, the metrics at this place are fixed. There is no variation. If you don't meet 170 parts per hour on the receiving line, then that's YOUR problem. Even though they themselves don't give you consistent-sized pallets to work on to keep your numbers where they should be, you mostly get to work on really slow pallets with huge parts just to screw you up. Then we get to blame you for it like it was your fault you got a crappy pallet! Muahahahah! The supervisors really love walking around and pointing out how slow you're working too! Especially when it's not your fault that you got bad luck on a pallet! Summary: If you like working at places because they don't test for drugs, this is your place. If you want to move up in the company, just forget it. You're going to go nowhere, no matter how nice you are, professional you are, or efficient as you are. Not at eReplacementParts.com where fixing things m... means screwing your employees over. Unprofessional, full of drugs, vulgarity, racism, and just about every other negative workplace scenario, eReplacementParts.com warehouse has it all!
