Pros

No pros which could be mentioned

Cons

Worst company to work with. Makes an employee sign a Bond which they call it as Training Agreement. If one leaves Eclerx within 1 yr from DoJ then he/she will have to pay the amount as per the training agreement. Eclerx provides normal training which any organisation will provide when you will join and if one leave the organisation within a yr, he's asked to pay the agreement amount failing to which company doesnt provide relieving letter. BEST PART - Eclerx does not provides signed copy of the agreement to the employee. Isnt it fishy ?? I dont think its legal. Its just an illegal measure taken to reduce their attrition rate.

Pros

Working at eClerx is a rewarding experience because you work with very bright and motivated people. Your colleagues generally bring a 'can do' attitude to the office every day and the company works with very large, impactful brands.

Cons

It is still a relatively young company, so there are certain internal processes that are still maturing. However, this can be seen as an attractive facet since employees are often given the chance to have their voices heard.

Pros

The only pros which I can say about is few good colleagues with whom I got the opportunity to work with. Also, if you are a fresher and do not have any other option, then eClerx can be your stepping stone for your next job. And offcourse you would learn excel (only). The detailed review is in the cons section.

Cons

° The senior management (APGM+ Level) are a bunch of people who considers dirty politics as the only way to run the business. °If you are good at flattering your boss and have no faith in your hard work and knowledge then this is the best place for you. °The daily time you spent in the office is nothing less than a boarding school. You have to swipe in and swipe out and wait thats not the end the time you spend on your computer is also tracked. So if you have no work then continue to punch the keyboard to keep your boss happy that you have worked and you are good to go. °Night shifts are highly encouraged as most of the clients are based out of the USA. Now let me tell you the night shift allowance, it is a mere 120 rupees per night. 120 rupees for your entire nights sleep. °Appraisals are done based on your Eureka entries and not on the basis of client appreciation. They expect you to make an Eureka entry every month and hundreds of reports which your client requires are obviously a part of your job, nothing extraordinary in that and yeah top it with the number of extra adhocs. ° Salary paid is almost 50% of the industry standard. The starting salary of a junior analyst is as low as 10,000 in a city like Mumbai. A local Marwari firm would pay a better salary. °Annual appraisals used to be good but since past few years it has come down to as low as 2%. Now imagine a Junior Analyst with 10,000 rupees salary is receiving an appraisal of 2 %. Just WOW. °Annual bonus are a part of your CTC and is big on papers. It is 20% of your fixed CTC but even if you score the 1st rating during your appraisals, you will get 90% of your bonus amount. The remaining 10% is a scam which you will never get, no matter how hard you work. So the entire CTC is a scam. LoL °Worst infrastructure. You would literally sit in cramped place like a school computer lab. Stone age computers with pathetic configuration and to top it they have unprofessional IT team to manage these IT infrastructure. °No laltops till you reach the level of Senior Manager, that to out dated laptops. So no work from home till you reach the senior manager level or join at that level. ° The HR is a bunch of incompetent people, who don't have anything to do apart from following the orders of ops managers. No resolution for employee greivance if you reach out to HR. Your managers decision is the last decision. HRBP is a joke in eClerx. °Work life balance is myth in eClerx. Don't forget night shift is encouraged with 120 rupees per night. °If you are concerned about your health then don't consider eating at eClerxs' cafeteria. Mumbai street is better than their cafeteria. Obviously the admin team gets the worst vendor with the cheapest bid. °The cons can go on and on but the above points are enough for someone to make a decision about joining eClerx.
