Pros

1.) High salaries (almost too high for some people) 2.) Decent medical benefits 3.) Goof-off time on Fridays if you work at the client's site.

Cons

1.) Incompetent first line management; 2.) Arrogant and condescending senior management; 3.) Too much bureaucracy for a small company -- too many layers of management, several approvals needed for the simplest of requests (like ordering business cards or requesting training) 4.) Disrespect for people's time: Many requests come in on Friday afternoons, and have a due date of Friday evening or Monday morning. 5.) Phony propaganda about how innovative we are, when most of the work we do is boring help-desk-like day to day support.

Cons

Senior Leadership has limited experience in the consulting world. They are not forthcoming on project opportunities, lacks time management, and they are honest. Some of the senior leadership touts they have degrees from ivy league schools but the evidence is not there. One on one interactions indicate not such education. Some of their tactics will blind side staff. Never trust them even when they are being pleasant and jovial. The group is very untrustworthy. Some of the senior leadership claims to have ties to the Obama Administration. This is constantly mentioned around the office and considered a selling point for contracts. The PMO is the worst. Leadership lack experience and caused E-Management to lose a lucrative contract with the FDA. Several employees will lose their jobs and benefits. Most of the current employees have more experience building solid relationships with the client. It's been clear to the entire PMO and the client that leadership is in over their head.
