Pros

Experience wearing many hats and exposure to C levels in companies. The software is really good, but does not make up for the leadership.

Cons

Every employee is a number on a spreadsheet, not an actual person to the owners. They don’t care about the future and growth of employees, only if they are logging enough hours in the day to feed their lifestyle of wannabe Patriots team mom and Florida elite. They have zero interest in development of employees, they monitor Slack to make sure people are working and not talking, they expect you to sacrifice everything. The company is hemorrhaging employees right now, there is a mass exodus, do not join this company.

Pros

The platform was good in the early years when there were less players in the space. But good products don’t make good companies. The market is now saturated with offerings from well funded, stable and future proof companies.

Cons

In my opinion, the company can no longer be considered a start up and hasn’t managed to grow or scale due to a lack of leadership. Many of the folks who pushed the early success of the product and the services have moved on in the last -6 months. If you’re considering employment, you should reach out to one of the many former employees on LinkedIn for a true uncoerced “review” of the company and the management. You’d be doing yourself a big favor.

While a robust hiring phase is in vogue, and several of our more senior consultants have moved on to new careers; our entire product team (with a few new members) continues to build amazing technology. Contrary to this former employee, NO members of the product team have left. The departures Zudy has experienced has opened the door to provide opportunities for our up-and-coming leaders to advance in their careers. As a result, we have seen new ideas and better employee engagement. Many senior employees tend to resist change. At Zudy, we embrace change and see it as our path for continuous improvement.

They do offer full benefits

Cons

Poor leadership from the top down. Very condescending, unwilling to listen, and impossible to please. Many developers don't work in the office so they cannot see the negativity.

We expect a level of excellence from our staff that tends to fuel our seasoned team and weeds out those who are not aligned with our strategic vision. At Zudy, we work to do what is right for the team, above any individual’s needs. Unfortunately, we are not the right fit for every employee, as was certainly the case for this person who was only with the firm for a few months.
