Pros

Pre-acquisition by Solar City, Zep had a laid-back, casual, but focused work environment. Generally, people who worked there were happy and contributed to a positive culture who were excited about bringing a unique PV solar racking solution to the market. Felt that each individual contributed 110% and as a result were given a fair amount of autonomy. All-in-all a nice place to work.

Cons

During the announcement that Solar City was buying Zep, Upper Management (mostly by SC) promised nothing would change, but of course it did, which increased confusion and created an environment of fear, instead of excitement, about the future. Would have been nice to have more transparency of the direction they were taking Zep, but many of us believed that SC didn't even know what they wanted at the time. Hopefully, they have smoothed things out since then and have had better integration with their parent company.

Pros

Company was purchased by Solarcity recently and has great growth potential. New products are constantly being released and sustaining products being improved.

Cons

Some unknowns due to recent purchase. When companies get bought many times the futurr plans are unknown. However there does appear to be a great synergy from this purchase by SolarCity.
