Terrible working culture

Pros

Great product and heritage. Expert in menswear and tailoring. Long-term client relationships. Good commission schemes. Good step-stone to luxury industry.

Cons

Low pay, GM only cares about the $$$. It depends which market you are in. But the company doesn’t care about its people. Often felt we don’t have the support. Hires people who’s not qualified for their job. Communication within the company is terrible. Very patriarchal. Lots of people just spends company’s money and not doing work. Lack of structure. Too many grey areas.

Good products, strong retail presence

Cons

Not many employee perks, discount is not great (extremely hard to use if you're a woman), male driven organization/ sort of a boys club, big disconnect with HQ in Italy

Few good people, far in between

Everything needs improvement. Pay not worth workload. Store management is incompetent and very unprofessional. Leads to promote toxic unhealthy work culture. Pretend to care just to cover themself. Participating and accepting inappropriate behaviors that would get employees fired anywhere else. Very misogynistic/sexist & make inappropriate comments. Screaming comments are true. Reactive and can’t regulate emotions. Sales employees only has to sell. Every one else is directed by management to pick up sales team slack. No support from managers just extra work. Anyone hired not selling will do more than one job. Everybody works overtime. Respect is just a word. Manipulation and bias. Clients can be disrespectful at times. Very little or no care for work/life balance. Pto is terrible.
