Pros

Sometimes management will give you free lunch I guess.

Cons

Unfortunately, the company culture here and lack of clear vision contributed to a great deal of burnout, particularly for the sales and marketing team. In my relatively short time time there, I've watched SEVERAL employees be let go for no discernible reason or leave on their own accord without even being able to finish out their two weeks. It pains me to see actual qualified individuals working here, there's simply no reason for it. There are absolutely no opportunities to work from home (regardless of a COVID outbreak in the office or extreme weather conditions), bare minimum benefits, and upper management is exceedingly difficult to work with. There is a culture of rampant gaslighting, manipulation, and control. It's all about toxic power dynamics for management - it's how they keep certain employees loyal to them while weeding out others that are privy to their nonsense. Sure, there's definitely room for upward mobility at this company. But, that's if you take into account their mindboggling turnover rates, and the fact that you'll probably have to cater to every single one of leadership's ridiculous whims. The "leadership" (and I use this term loosely) in charge at YFS has absolutely no idea how to run a company or treat their employees. Middle schoolers have more freedom than the employees here. This is truly the most oppressive atmosphere I've ever had to work in. Oh, and did I mention that you're not allowed to greet or make eye contact with the CEO? Major red flag in case you didn't know. If you're considering working for this company, I urge you to reconsider and find somewhere else. Even the worst remote job on earth is better than working in that dingy old office with cameras watching your every move. You First Services will not be conducive to your growth either personally or professionally and you'll likely become burned out rather quickly. There's a reason why there are far more worse (and actually authentic) reviews than good. Proceed with caution.

Pros

If you like gossip, then this is the place for you! They sink their teeth into it like they are divulging in the best, decadent chocolate cake they ever tasted; and they don't come up for air until they share every false detail about the person that they are talking about!

Cons

I should have listened! During my interview, my potential boss said “don’t take this job if you don’t have to.” I thought to myself, “How bad can it be; Is he just bitter?" YES, IT WAS VERY BAD -- NO, HE WAS NOT BITTER! Let me put it to you this way -- Inmates at Attica are more functional and refined than management at You First Services. From the gossipy staff member, who by the way should be unbiased in every situation and the one person that you think you could confide in when an issue arises, you cannot trust one bit. Then there is the dysfunctional and bullying interim “person in charge,” who can't wait to convey unsolicited false information about staff to others -- unfortunately, this list continues for miles for this toxic environment. Employees want leaders who can help them grow professionally and who have the influence to advance their careers over time. These leaders (and I use that term loosely) are focused on their own hidden agendas and lose sight of the bigger picture. They quickly get disconnected from their employees, and fail to build a team that lasts. Unfortunately, this organization will hold onto these venomous vampires, harming the rest of the workers in the process, but of course not placing blame on themselves for their 82% turnover rate.

Pros

Next to none. The pay is decent that’s about all. Majority of employees were great coworkers.

Cons

Micromanagement, no work/life balance, no remote work, no flex time, zero vacation time. If you have kids or a life at all then this isn’t the job for you. If you like getting yelled/screamed at by management this might be for you.
