Pros

the work is actually fun on occasion, when they aren't overloading you.

Cons

very toxic place. management do not listen they will work you until you drop dead and then they'll kick you under a press and bring someone else in you only ever hear about the bad things you do, never the good things. I honestly think I suffered some mental trauma from working here for 4 years. a lot of the employees like to gossip and stab each other in the back they will threaten to fire you over taking sick days, even if you only took 2 AFTER never taking any for 2 years forced overtime and they will write you up if you say no because they dont care if you have a life outside of work. I'm pretty sure they do sketchy things to get people to run the presses when they cant force actual employees to any more

Pros

Benefits are good. That is all

Cons

The manufacturing area is sweltering hot with people passing out (yes it happened). The management threatens with firing constantly. They finally handed out the hand book and covered firing offenses and nothing on holidays, pto or anything else. There are constantly people calling out and they demand overtime without any thought of personal life. Beware they are nice during hiring, but their true colors come out after working for them.

Pros

Young engineers are given a lot of responsibility. Lots of international locations to travel to (although that can turn out to be a Con if you end up doing it a lot).

Cons

Engineering and technical groups have been cut down in size in recent years. Most projects are done spending a minimum amount of capital. The work would be more interesting for engineers if more money was spent on newer equipment. The equipment used is getting pretty dated. Not leading-edge. Some upgrades are being done because hardware has become so old it is obsolete and no longer supported.
