Pros

Decent pay and time off

Cons

WIN does not care about its employees. I was assaulted on shift and WIN refused to share camera footage with me or the police. I filed for workers comp so I could go to therapy and they fired me shortly afterwards. The building I worked at had a shooting in the lobby and people would overdose in the stairs. The clients/tenants are nasty and rude to the employees. One of the superintendents committed suicide in his apartment. Managers will rarely checked on the building, and the employees at our sister site up the block were afraid to cover our building shifts. The family shelter sites run out of cribs, while upper management throws Gala’s and celebrates their “success” Do not work here if you value your life

Pros

Pros include pay and schedule

Cons

Cons include management generating fake documents to meet a quota, asking staff to manipulate clients into accepting housing that does not align with their needs, requiring staff to complete busy-work that takes time away from actual work that is time-sensitive, and making false reports and/or not communicating with other city agencies in an attempt to sabotage clients' outcomes.
