Pros

Friendly team, most staff, managers and partners are very friendly. Lots of learning opportunities - wide range of clients. Regular meetings with mentors, you have a chance to shape your career at the firm.

Cons

Standard public practice issues - work life balance can be difficult and busy season can drag. Hard to avoid in public practice.

-You can get your CPA here..but unless you have no other options I wouldn't even stay for that

Cons

- Extremely toxic work environment..tons of bullying from managers who are underachievers with zero social or leadership skills. Only care about getting file out and not developing staff - Fake 5 star reviews from HR, don't know a single person who would honestly give this place 5 stars - Very low salaries compared to other public practice firms

Pros

You will learn everything from financial statement preparation, corporate tax, personal tax, and ASPE/IFRS. Wolrige Mahon gave me a solid foundation for my accounting career. I worked with some great managers at the time who are unfortunately no longer at the firm. I quite enjoyed my time at Wolrige and have made lasting friendships.

Cons

- Low retention but this is pretty standard across public practice. - Some clients are messy and can be difficult to work with.
