Pros

Product concept is innovative, largely untapped and has great potential for growth

Cons

Inept, insecure leadership too afraid to make decisions, more concerned with how she is perceived and surrounds herself with 1 or 2 hand holders (from her previous company) who lack the experience and caliber to have been hired in the first place. Due to her insecurity, "attack dogs" (Operations and Legal) have been appointed to the E Team -- who are counter to the company's professed culture of collaboration and mutual support. Continue to keep founders who are inept and downright scorned. These founders meddle in areas in which they have no expertise -- creating enormous rework, wasted efforts and a toxic environment. They talk of work/life balance -- but folks are worked tirelessly -- and compensation does not equate to time required. Work/life balance is a concept -- not a practice. HIghly unlikely they will secure the additional funding needed to still be in operation within a year.

Unstable Company

Pros

Technology is innovative and supportive to improve the lives of new moms.

Cons

With three formal rounds of layoffs and one informal round the company continues to be unstable. With each round of layoffs critical team members are let go, history is lost and projects suffer. Constant restructuring and realignment of goals causes people to be territorial of work and limits true teamwork and shared success. Additionally, very little opportunities for growth in almost all roles unless your are one of the four favorites of top leadership.
