      Tons of opportunity, really great & talented people to work with, important mission.

      Cons

      Going through growing pains as an engineering organization & acquired company which causes some challenges, but there's commitment to solve it.

      I've grown more as a leader over the past 2+ years at Wave than I have over the course of my entire career

      Pros

      - Smart and empathetic leadership team who care deeply about both employees and customers, and trust you to lead - Strong investment in leadership development across the organization through traditional means such as executive coaching, mentorship, and monthly mindshares, as well as unique programs such as My Voice My Lens (leadership development through self-portrait photography) - Strong company culture - Wavers are truly some of the kindest, most supportive people I've ever worked with - Ample opportunity for growth - in my 2+ years at Wave, I doubled the size of my team, created multiple new roles, and led a number of transformative projects

      Cons

      - While our People & Culture team did an amazing job responding to COVID and helping everyone get settled into working from home, Wave's in office culture is so strong that the transition to working remotely was deeply felt - Wave moves quickly, which is amazing, but the constant change made it difficult to stabilize my team at times, especially during tax season

      The company really cares about its employees. It also has lofty goals. Handling of the pandemic has been very good by the People and Culture team, really supporting all staff. Collaborative environment

      Cons

      Not the same scrappy startup from 3+ years ago. Things move slower than back then but still faster than most
