Highly stressful environment. Outside consulting firms have informed the company that this is the most stressed out workforce they deal with. The recent initiative by our President to reduce employee stress levels is being treated as a joke by the management. To quote "This is how we do things. Chris will be retiring soon, we aren't going anywhere and we aren't going to change..."
Serious lack of training, chronic understaffing. Almost no cooperation between departments, many employees/departments are not held accountable for their work, leaving their co-workers to pick up after them. Policies and procedures are merely suggestions, not followed or enforced. Management is out of touch and definitely show favoritism. Employees who express disagreement with Management face retribution. Good employees who try to change things for the better are pushed out the door. Constant changes, conflicting priorities, excessive workload, lack of direction and focus. Employee development is reserved for a select few, mostly Management and IT personnel. Directives from Munich are based on increasing profits with no consideration for the impact on the quality of the product or employee's work-life balance.
