Pros

If you are fortunate, your fellow co-workers and yourself with bond over the singular solidarity of not wanting to work here.

Cons

I intended to give a two-weeks notice before my departure but found myself leaving without much more than a formal, unplanned resignation. I'm happy to relay my sentiments here and would also like to note that this 'review' will find itself posted on public job review sites to better help future potential employees have a thorough understanding of what working for Williams Lea Tag is like. It is as follows: I could not and would not subject any self-respecting individual to being employed for a company with such poor regard for basic, fundamental morality in the workplace. During my time with WLT, I have either witnessed or have personally experienced racism, sexism, physical harassment, verbal harassment, stalking, death threats and a general air of absolute hypocrisy from management (both on-site and above) that no company should condone. It is hilarious in only the most sardonic ways that a manager-- one who has little regard for anything remotely related to professionalism-- can repeatedly allow situations such as drinking on the job, blatant displays of aggression (both to/at property and fellow employees), and sexual/derogatory remarks to occur and yet believe himself fully justified in cherry picking which employees will be held accountable for minor infractions such as cell phone usage, arriving late due to city commute, and the personal use of work computers while also himself being guilty of each. There is further hilarity in the fact that management and HR will resort to covering their own hides after putting their employees in danger and resort to backhanded punishment in order to place the fault of these dangers on the employee themself rather than their own lamentable lack of judgment. So, no, I would not consider working for WLT again. I would never recommend this company to a friend. I would never recommend this company to an enemy. Before taking the job, I saw many disparaging reviews for the company and more specifically management, and I'm bereaved to discover that those complaints barely scratched the surface with this toxic environment. I hope-- sincerely-- that the fellow members of my team find new employment and move on to better opportunities that they are surely deserving of.

Pros

The company is housed in a shiny new glass tower in Aldgate with impressive views all around the two floors which it occupies. You get paid every month. If you can help the company to streamline the staff levels you will be more highly regarded than the poor souls producing the work. A good place for somebody with no empathy towards their fellow human beings.

Cons

The senior management are completely out of touch with the staff on the coal face. Every minute of every working day has to be accounted for by filling in time sheets which is time consuming in itself. Clients are regarded as a nuisance if they don't wholly embrace the Tag working process. The management make no secret of the fact that they are constantly looking to offshore any work function that they can and you may very well find yourself training somebody overseas to take your job.

Pros

Tag is an impressive company going from start up to worldwide enterprise to being acquired in a relatively short amount of time, in a competitive business environment. They have the business network and systems and reach to make them good at what they do and to make them a big player.

Cons

I was hired in a Senior Level Client Manager position. Upper management was non-existent. Middle management was a tight group of brit boys and pals who managed very little and just kept things on track with very little change in status quo. The heavy lifting was done by younger employees, underpaid, undervalued and under appreciated. I would not recommend Tag.
