Pros

Great work-life balance. Excellent character of coworkers on the whole.

Cons

Low end of pay scale. Mid-management is decent on the whole, but is overshadowed and stifled by mediocre senior management. Took a big step down on the “Vortex Family”attitude with regime change from Dan Hamilton to Joe.

Pros

People first culture - you, as well as your colleagues are treated with a high level of respect. This is reflective in the monthly b-day parties when ownership will recognize individuals both for their individual' work as well as how they make an experience for others. Consumer products company - awesome products, especially if you're into sporting outdoors Receptive Ownership - Willing to listen to their employees. *You will be taken care of financially. Company doesn't penny pinch.

Cons

Lacks levels to the organization. New roles are consistently being created; however, if you aren't hired directly into a managing role you will see limited opportunities to advance your career. This seems to be true across multiple departments.

Family Atmosphere - Everyone really looks out for one another. Owners are very involved in the day-to-day operations. They let you do your work and don't micro-manage.

Cons

No clear cut organizational structure. (It's a work in progress, but seems a bit cloudy at the moment)
